Expectations: That's where the problem is!

It's the starting, you expect, you get disappointed, you become sad, and think what's wrong. That's not how it should work. Satisfaction is the key here, if you don't expect much from someone you will be happy for even the little things they do for you. We always set out standards high, and as someone fails to achieve it, the problem starts.

You need to believe that everything doesn't work the way you want it to be, everyone don't do things the way you like them to be, they have got their own thought process, and obviously they will follow it. It's said that a satisfied person is a happy person, always be satisfied with what you have got, the desire of achieving more should be there, but it doesn't mean that you don't value the things you have got at present.

In every relationship, we expect certain things from the other person, and if they don't do it, we automatically assume that something is wrong with us or them. If they don't do things your way, it doesn't mean that they don't love you or you don't matter for them. Everyone has got their own way of showing affection, love and care, and they might not match with your expectation. You need to think from other's prospective too and you will realize that you have been wrong.

From childhood we have been taught that if you do some thing for someone, they should return the favor in this way and in that way our mind always thinks. So we expect certain things and we get disappointed. Try at least once, don't expect anything from anyone and if they do a tiny thing, you will be happy like anything and that too for you and your relationship either it is friendship or any other relationship. Low expectations is the key for a happy life.

P.S. - What ruins everything is the image or expectation about something that how it is supposed to be!

Arvind Kejriwal: The man with the will

Once in a while there comes a person who changes the scenario of India in such a way that new history is created. Jayprakash Narayan was one and i think this man has the capability to do things, things in different way, the one who can put his country ahead of himself, the one who can understand the problems of common man rather than just saying that he feels them.

All started with the Jan Lokpal movement, he came in the limelight, people were thinking that if he was the brain behind all this, then again the second movement, then his own fast, and a simple challenge by Mr. Salman Khrushid, that if you want to fight, then join politics, come in the parliament and then fight! Well. ideally you should not challenge an engineer, and if you do so, then be ready for the consequences. Next morning the announcement was made that he and his group are forming a political party, " Aam Aadmi Party".

Some members of team Anna were against the decision of forming a political party and media was also criticizing the decision, but that was the best done at that time, some also called him opportunist. But the one who has a will, will find a way. Going through all the challenges and hardships, the controversies he was going strong. The election arrived and he choose to challenge the 15yrs old candidate, the Chief Minister and the again his dicision was questioned, but he was determined. She asked once in an interview 'Kejriwal Who?', well, the results showed that who is Kejriwal! This morning he announced his decision of forming the government.

The public wanted a change, were fed up from this mud of corruption, poverty and what not! They saw a ray of hope and surprisingly results of election were a huge surprise. They didn't got clear lead but the trust was there from the public. Congress is giving the conditional support(Well, there looks something fishy), but then the intention is clear, the will is pure and the determination is strong. Surely there are some faults too but comparing to all other competitors, they are way ahead in the line and surely a considerable option in upcoming Loksabha elections.

P.S. : First they ignore you, then they laugh at you, then they fight against you and then you win!(And they might join you- Congress)

Engineering Education (Badly needs a change!)

Producing meaningless batches of robots every year, especially the engineering schools, don’t know what they are up to! With the never ending syllabus, in the burdens of assignments, in the tensions of good grades, suffering from the mental torture of professors, keeping the attendance percentages in mind, in between all the processes a student which dreams of doing something creative, something extra ordinary, that thought dies! It’s just like putting a bird in the cage. It won’t be allowed to fly high in the sky where it wants to, instead of that it is forced to live in a cage full of shit!

There is no doubt that some students still exceeds in that field, but most as I have seen with my eyes, dreams of doing something different gets stuck in things which they have to do against their wish. And if someone leaves it in between, the society is always there to comment on everything you do. The concept of society still makes me wonder, we’ll talk about that some other day. Nevertheless the day you stop giving a damn about what others think of what you do and start doing what you like is the day of revolution in your life. The best day to start something good is today and remember that tomorrow is always a better day.

We choose the streams of 12th based on the percentages of 10th, not based on the interest of individual, the branch of engineering based on the current flow of market again not preferring the personal interest. The stupid exam systems, no doubt exams should be there to check the knowledge. Exams should check the knowledge, the intelligence, not how much one can cram. In this system I think they are checking how much GB we can store in our mind, they should well know that we are humans, not some machines with hard drives so we can just scan things and there it is on our mind. In the process of getting good marks, to avoid taunts of family and society, the logic and knowledge suffers. I don’t think there is any way one can remember 200 equations filled with weird symbols, unless you have identical memory and only some are blessed with that. Yes, one should definitely know it, but know it how to use and when to use.Instead of that what we get to do is that how to cram that!

I can’t see the need to remember them when in this technological time where everything is on your fingertip just a touch away! Just type in Google and there it is. Why waste time in memorizing them while u can utilize the time doing something more operational. Mental harassment of students seems like one of the most favorite hobbies of professors. No wonder suicide rates are high in engineering schools. Giving useless assignments which contain nothing but a long list of questions which you have to write mindlessly, and yes, we all copy it. Submission time is their time, they are the boss. Rejecting file after file and even if that’s not enough, sometimes throwing them away. These actions might be giving them a sense of satisfaction over the fact of not achieving anything in the life. They expect respect from students, but respect is a two way thing just like Karma, you get what you give. Obviously there are some exceptional cases, the one’s which students loves, the true teacher, who guides the students to the right path. Yeah, they are rare.

A backlog in exam and everyone loses their mind. Have you seen any team of any sports that has not lost even a single game till date? Have you seen any individual in anything that has not failed? Any successful person who did not go through failure? Any actor who has not given a single flop movie? Besides the exams of engineering, there are exams which life takes. And passing them is much more important than these silly ones! Failure is a sure thing, the key is to not giving up. That’s why we fall, so that we can pic ourselves up! (The Batman Begins :P). And sure engineering teaches you many things, but most of them are from outside of the syllabus! They system can only produce another system. Engineering surely makes you Jack of all, master of none!

P.S.- The problem in India is that the smartness and intelligence of someone is defined by his/her percentages, Sad!

India - The Land of Self Proclaimed Godmen

Since so many years, this topic has been controversial. The number of ordinary people claiming to be extra-ordinary keeps increasing and people keep putting their faith in them. This has to be stopped somehow, the stupidity must end someday. I wish this day come as early as possible. Because there is nothing to lose for the one who claims to be the God, obviously they aren't. They will face some charges and will eventually come up with the clean sheet. What is lost during this process in people’s hopes, their dreams, and their faith which they have put it in them. I must say that people of India are far too innocent while believing and trusting someone. They will easily lay their belief in them, and this is all they want. They will live a luxurious life, will have power, even females who blindly follow them and most importantly the power, which will make them stronger day by day.

Thanks to the media, there has been some awareness about these topics. But there is a say that ‘You can take a horse to the lake, but you can’t make the horse drink water’. All you can do is aware them, but they are so lost in the deep influences of these God men that they won’t even believe you, no matter how hard you try! Not taking any names, you know who they are. And some of you are might following one, but the thing is to keep in mind is that sometimes it’s hard to believe the reality, but you can’t change the fact. And some of you even won’t agree with me about this, but this is what I believe. I strongly believe in God, but I don’t think you need to worship someone who is claiming to be God with his tricks. A belief and hope in yourself is above all of this.

One of the main reasons in India behind this blind following crowd is that everyone what to live a luxurious and life with full money without doing any hard work or facing the challenges which life offers you. Believe me there is no shortcut or secret formula to get success. And even if there was any, no one is that stupid that they would share that in public. They say they will change your life and all they do is to thug you. No one except you can change your life. Please be awake, be responsible and be safe! Happy Navratri to all of You.

P.s. : The problem is not that it happens almost every year and people’s hopes, faith and beliefs are being torn apart, the problem is that people still chooses to believe the new one who emerges out of nowhere!

Final Year - The Last Hurrah!

Before we could realize, the end was near. So near that you could feel it. It’s going to be over. The unforgettable 4 years of college life were about get over. Time passes, in this case, it flew away! Even a slight thought of end of this everlasting journey creates a teardrop rolling from the corner of my eye.

Coming as a fresher, entering in the strange, new and weird world of college, with all the dreams which we raised through the childhood were either about to be fulfilled or shattered. Settling in the new atmosphere requires quite a time. But once you are settled with bunch of new friends, the real life starts. Flashback of past, home, food and what not! Knowing each other, sharing secrets, girlfriend/boyfriends, fights, last night studies, screwed up grades, backlogs, that promises to study hard from next semesters, romance, heartbreaks, new crush and many more countless moments which leaves an eternal print on your mind that you cherishes for the rest of your life.

No matter how much you curse your college or hostel or PGs, you will miss all of that in the end. I have not seen anyone who does not miss his/her college days! The fear strikes in the final year that what you would do without all of your friends, where in college you can’t live without them for even a single day. Will they forget you? Will you guys be in touch after college? Will you be able to meet them like you do today? That thought of this gives a sad feeling. Because the friends you made in college, are friends for lifetime.

You know it was going to end someday, but in fact, you were never fully prepared for it, you never really thought that this day will come this soon! Still you wish that it should never end. All the Hindi songs like Purani Jeans, College Days, Yad Aayenge Ye Pal starts making sense to you. At this time you realize that the main part is the part of journey, you are going to reach to the destination anyhow, but it’s the journey that makes it worth mesmerizing. Better you enjoy the time, and believe me, You don’t have that much left! So enjoy it up to the best you can, coz you won’t get it again! All the best fellas ;)

Afzal Guru Hanged Till Death

Date: 09-02-2013

Early morning today around 5 a.m. the master mind behind the terrorist attacks on Indian Parliament on 13th of the December 2001 by Lashkar-e-Taiba and Jaish-e-Mohammed terrorist groups was hanged till death. According to the home minister Sushil Kumar Shinde he signed on the order for the capital punishment for the terrorist on 4th February and due to some reasons it was getting delayed. But early morning today this happened after finishing all the required procedure.

It finally seems that Honourable President Mr. Pranab Mukharjee is finally doing some positive work and setting a good examples for the generation after rejecting the plea of first Kasab and then of Afzal Guru. This will definitely create some good image of UPA government in the society after coming up with lots of scams and their ministers getting into jail! They still have got a lot to do against all the negative points like irresponsible statements of their ministers, price hike and lots. NDA will grow in next elections if they over come from the internal issues they are facing for the candidate for PM. Overall a remarkable step for the country, and this are the exact way to deal with the terrorists. I wish our Ex-President Mrs. Pratibha Patil would have taken some strong steps against the enemies of the countries. This was the best news to start the morning with and this peaceful news, which will always remind you that you are safe in this country because our soldiers are guarding our country. A big salute to all the martyrs in this attack and today their soul must have been very happy. Rest in peace brothers. Jai hind.

Lokpal once again in the news

Date: 01-02-2013

Finally Loksabha has again passes the lokpal bill with some changes, they accepted 14 out of 16 suggestions from the Rajyasabha. But still it is not strong enough that it will be enough strict towards the corrupt officers. As corruption is one of the major problems of morden India, a very strong law is indeed required.

A main point which attracts attention in the revised version of the lokpal is that it will not be applied against any political party or any religious institution and CBI (Central bureau of Investigation). It is required that it could be applied to political parties, they are one of the main source of corruption, collecting money from businessmen and other wealthy people and threaten them. They even don’t allow the audit of their accounts.

Anna Hazare is once again saying of doing the rally for lokpal and again corruption once again. They are not getting enough and proper response from the public for the rally. He should make a proper agenda and should work hard on it to get proper attention as Arvind Kejrival has made a different party and he was surely one of the main members of team Anna. Well, there is surely some things which can be changed in the current bill and government should work on it seriously if they are willing to change the position and situation of the country. Hope one day in future this country will be corruption free. Jai Hind.

Kamal Hasan and Vishwaroopam problems

Date: 30-01-2013

The problem behind this problem is unsolved. If the comity of 42 well educated and appointed persons in the censer board approves the film and they don’t find any content which provokes the minorities. They how come the state government have problem with it? It is already released in other two states but there isn’t any problem. Is this a political problem or simply the government of Tamilnadu have got problem with it.!

Even the single bench of high court approved the film release but still the government applied for the senior bench and it banned the movie again. Just on the name of to maintain ‘Law & Order’, they always ban anything attacking the right to express. This are the times when you think that are you really free in this country? The freedom seems only in books but not in practical life.

Kamal Hasan has also said that he will leave the country or move to any other state which is secular. He is going on the wrong way, rather than leaving the state or he should fight for his rights. It’s same like if someone is troubling you, rather than complaining to the authorities you just shift to other place. This kind of this often happens in this time as with the power the authorities do whatever they want! India needs to fight back, strongely!

Rehman Malik on SRK security

Date: 29-01-2013

Pakistani home minister saying Indian government to take care of security of SRK is the best time when Indian government can say “Bitch Please!”. He should first take care of security of his own country. Bomb blasts every other day in their masjids and in main cities, even their air bases are not secured from terrorist attacks and he’s talking about our security.

Even Hafiz Saeed (The master mind behind Mumbai terrorist attacks) was inviting SRK to come to Pakistan and be secured, he is talking about security! Government has already replied to Pakistan to mind about their own security. SRK should also replay Pakistan firmly. And if India has threats, they are from Pakistan, not from its citizens. Everyone is secure here much better then Pakistan.

Every Muslim who lives in this country feels better about their safety than Pakistan. Pakistan could not think more than this, and we should not even expect any wise thing from the country which has established on the base of communism, while in India everyone, no matter which religion he follows is respected.

So Mr Rehman Malik, "जिनके खुद के घर शिशो के होते है, à¤µो दुसरो के घर पे पत्थर नहीं फेका करते!"

Memories: They break us, they make us!

Our heart is divided in several parts for the emotional thing. Some part of it always belongs to some special person and if they leave you, a part of you dies with it. In the same matter the most precious part of the heart is possessed by memories, good or bad, doesn’t matter. That’s why people love memories, because even though people change, it’s still the same. The same is with the photos, because it’s the one thing which actually helps to preserve the moments and memories.

We always imagine scenarios in our mind, hoping that someday it would happen. And always cherish the scenarios which have already happened. It would be great if we could save some moments of our life so that we can watch them later again and again, the same case is with dreams.

Memories are attached with some person, if we miss them and cry, it’s not the person that makes us cry, but the memories which are in our heart do that. Memories always have a strong power to make us weak and strong at the same time. Sometimes you break down in tears and the memories of hard times only inspire us in the life to do something.

Do something good, live the life today because future is not in your hand, but present is surely is, so live today, because it will become memory tomorrow and make sure it's worth cherishing.

And the Story goes on...

With a new year the book of life introduces a new chapter in front of you. With 365 blank pages, depending on you how well or how bad you write it. With the memories of the past few years and all the characters in your novel it starts.

Every story has some common things in it. Starts with friendship, grow with love and end with break ups. Some new people making their way beautifully in your life, some old faces living their footprints on your heart, some little fights, some mesmerizing moments of joy and tenderness. The pain and happiness share equal part in life. If you are happy, enjoy it because it will not last forever. And if you are sad, don’t worry because it won’t last forever either.

The previous year made us all better in all the way, got to learn new things, new experience, became more mature and every tiny detail got strengthened. Only in some way you can try to keep some people in your life. If they want to leave, you can’t force them. Sometimes you have to let some things in go. If they are meant to be, eventually it will come back in your life, may be not at the time when you needed it the most, but it will come and make your life wonderful than before. And you accept it or not. Time always makes you a better person.

Sometimes you are at the peak of happiness and suddenly a thrust and you are hitting the bottom. But that’s the way things in life works. The rough way. We often call some people insensitive, we might not have any idea why they behave in that way. It may happen that in the journey of life they have been betrayed enough that they don’t trust anyone or do not care about the feelings. So if you don’t have any idea about someone’s story, you don’t have any kind of right to judge them.

Some pages of your diary might have some teardrops on it, but there will be surely a rose petal between two pages. And those moments defines life for us. The obstacles are meant to come in the way, but how well you cross them is up to you. That’s how it is, life is a show and no matter what, the show must go on….!

P.S. – Wish you all a very happy new year. I hope you will write this chapter of your life with happiness and success.
