At the end you have lived a wonderful
life if you have ever spent some of the years of your life in the hostel
(Especially boys hostel). You can’t argue with that they were some of the best
years of your life. Remembering all the crazy things, all the madness and all
the other silly stuff you did which never made sense to the normal people make
you smile often.
Coming as a fresher, a bit nervous in
starting, worrying about all the things, may be feeling home sick. And after
some months.. Bam! It’s your home. No worries, no tension, caring, sharing,
friendship, love, heartbreaks, fun, night outs, lan gaming, sleeping, nights
before exam, result days, parties and the best one, Birthdays!
Birthdays are the best part. The
clock hits 12 o’clock and the show begins. It seems fun for all the other guys
but not for the birthday boy. The birthday bumps, ooucch! They indeed hurt, and
sometimes it’s even sometimes hard to sleep on your birthday night. Talking
about my hostel we hold a proud record about cake. Till date we are not able to
cut the cake sincerely. There’s always a madass who has to ruin the plan,
sometimes it’s me. Showing our love to him by giving him a cake bath, some
eggs, dirty water and what not! But these are the moments which you will
remember in future, not the assignments you did during your college life.
Seriously suggesting you that even in
future, never buy a house or a flat near a boys hostel. The constant flow of
#$@*^%$# never stops. The loud music, continues noise, crazy stuff which you
might not like to witness! Wasting all the day doing nothing and at the end
reading like crazy on the night before exam. Sleeping is also one of the finest
things of the hostel life. U sleep, sleep and sleep again. You tend to develop
a perfect relationship with your bed. No promises, no commitment and u both can
sleep together whenever u want. There
are even certain things which I can’t write here… Haha to that.
No matter what you say, but in the
end you are gonna miss these days. So for those who are currently living in the
heaven, enjoy it as much as you can. And to all the other fellas, I know you
are smiling remembering your days. I strongly recommend it as one of the things
to do before die.!
